A modeling agency where can mingle models sizes 34, 36, 38,40 , 42 or 48, sounds utopic? Not anymore! Autumn Wardrobe Inspiration A/W 2013

When walking to and from Uni I have started to notice a chill in the air and I feel its time to retire the Summer wardrobe for another year, I was feeling sad about this until I started sifting through Style.com A/W 2013 catwalk shows and I realized why the hell would I be sad about leaving my summer wardrobe behind when I can snuggle up in all my layers!  Throw on a chunky knit, a bold print shirt, contrasting print maxi skirt, a skinny belt and a gold statement necklace and I’m sorted to rock that outfit into class or down the runways of Fashion week according to Givenchy, and hey I’m not gonna argue with that!

As you can see I have a bit of an obsession with anything Burgundy at the minute, and long may this obsession continue! Because I currently have dyed my hair this colour and bought everything I could possibly find in this colour soooo I’m gonna be stuck with it for a while. And I’m sure you can also tell by my blog name (That is, if you know what Gilded means) that I love anything gold! So This Autumn/ Winter I will be rocking any gold brocade, embellishments, metallic’s, jewellery, and buckles I  can get my hands on, man I love being a girl!!

Illamasqua makeover

So yesterday in work they were holding a Debenhams wedding event and used staff as models and I was one of the unlucky few to be chosen . . . Me?? . . . Model? . . . More like Chewbacca in heels! But alas I chose a dress from my concession in Oasis and had my makeup done by the girls at the Illamasqua counter and I gotta say, I felt like a damn finalist on Britain Next Top Model!! I had a blast getting all dressed up and make up overed? . . . maked over? . . . maked up overed? Yano what I mean! But I am definitly looking forward to the next event theyre putting on and will be first in line to volunteer! Pics of the dress will be coming soon

Wanderlust leading me to France

So recently my university has given me the excuse of blowing a little of my hard earned sterling and visiting a European country as a “research” trip in order to soak in a little culture and inspiration. I can safely say I do not have to be talked into travelling as I am literally itching to explore as many places as I possibly can while young and free of responsibility (while remaining a successful participant in the fashion industry of course . . . duh) apparently I want it all and I want it now and I want an unlimited source of income but eh what’s a girl to do when that clearly isn’t going to happen. Apparently what a girls gotta do is to drive to Rossclare and get the ferry to Cherbourg in the North of France. I found this to be the most financially beneficial way for myself as it means I get a couple of days to explore rather than trying to cram it all into a stress filled day trip and trying to catch a plane. So I’m planning on starting off in Cherbourg in the North coastline of France and then on the second day travelling to Bayeux, where I can see the famous Bayeux tapestry, which I’m sure if you were paying attention in history class you will know all about. Looks like I better brush up on my French. . .
